ne of my long time dear friend?s daughter, who is the same age as my oldest son,?lives in Hawaii. ?She loves it there. ?She is far away from our long Michigan winters. ?She just rents at this time, but is looking at?Hawaii real estate for sale so that her mom and her younger sisters can come to visit. ?Maybe my husband and I would have a place to also visit?!?!?! ?
It?s always been a dream of mine to visit Hawaii, and hopefully it won?t just remain a dream! I?ve heard so much about Waikiki beach which is suppose to have one of the cleanest beaches along the Pacific Ocean along with plenty to do as well. ?However, from what I have read, if my friend?s daughter wants to get a good deal in real estate, foreclosures in Kaneohe or Kaneohe Bay?are much more affordable than in Waikiki or Kahala.
Another place of great interest to me if visiting is Hawaii Kai, a neighborhood on the eastern perimeter of Honolulu, which is not overtake by the larger hotels. ?The are some old bunkers there from WWII and the??Makapu?u Lighthouse which was erected in 1909. There?s also?Koko Crater, a crater from an old volcano and is now a lovely botanical garden.
Yes, it may remain a dream to visit Hawaii, but I can keep hoping I get an invite from my friend?s daughter! ?The white beaches really are calling me! ?Maybe she will too!
