The summer sun, the winter itch, medical problems, my diet, and aging all make my exposed face, hands, and legs vulnerable to dry skin problems. No doubt about it, time and wear has made my skin tight, painful, dull, flaky, itchy.
Recently I tried two Ranbaxy products available over the counter, the Lowila Care Cleansing Bar and Lac-hydrin Five. Halleluah, no more scratching for me! Endorsed by dermatologists, physicians, and pediatricians, these two atopics really work which means less bacterial, yeast, fungal infections and allergic reactions for me. Hoorah!
The Lowila cleansing bar was gentle, neither drying or irritating my sensitive skin more. Its gentle soap-free lather neither harsh nor anti-bacterial, removed dirt but not oil thankfully. The bar left my whole body clean without my feeling the need to scratch, scratch, scratch it.
After patting myself dry, I applied Lac-hydrin Five to exposed skin areas. The lotion?s application was quick with no runs or drips. It quickly absorbed into the skin. It certainly was not greasy. Almost immediately I could feel its moisturizing effects. My body?s rough dry patches seemed softer with no alcohol-like first contact burn feeling. And it lasted throughout the day. Plus, big plus: Its being fragrance free means that it will not overpower or dispel my signature Gardenia scent.
